These steps require workspace access, which is not available on this site yet.
- Choose a saved policy that includes Email addresses. If you need one, create a policy first.
- Open Scan text and select your policy.
- In Text to check, enter
Please contact sam@example.test. - Click Run scan, then inspect the result.
Read the result
A completed check with Email addresses should find sam@example.test. The decision and any redaction depend on your policy's selected action.
Inspect the checks and findings in Overview and Records. Allow, Review, and Block describe the policy's decision; your application decides how to handle it. Forward text only after a complete Allow result, using returned redacted text when applicable. Route Review and Block results separately.
If a check is incomplete or fails, follow the error's recovery instructions. Missing results do not mean the text is safe. Finding no matches does not guarantee that every risk was detected.
Credits and privacy
Scans use workspace credits. Usage shows your balance. Your text is not saved in Activity; keep your own copy if you need to retry.
