He had one of the closest electoral college wins in history-- 46th out of 58, and he had 3 million fewer popular votes than Hillary. Trump won the 35 largest cities in all parts of the country-- for example, Dallas, Houston, Charlotte, Nashville, San Antonio, Indianapolis, Louisville, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Memphis, Louisville, and all of the major cities on both coasts. This means that while Trump is our President, there is still a divide in the country that his conduct is only making worse. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

You had great times with your Dad and your BB gun. So did I. So what? If you have to apply for a license to buy a firearm, as they do in Australia, then it is no longer a "right". The first ten amendments are known as the bill of "rights", not the bill of privileges or the bill of restrictions. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

In 2012, Trump railed against Obama for not negotiating a good deal for the bailout. As usual, he made false claims, this time about Chrysler moving its Jeep production to China. Point of fact, they were opening a plant in China to serve the Asian market and avoid tariffs. Now, Trump pretends the bailout never happened and that his election is rebuilding the auto industry. Two key traits of an autocrat are detachment from reality and craving mass adulation at any cost. Trump suffers from both. Obama received adulation, he did not seek to create it but his loyalists were blinded by the light and he turned out to be a Jimmy Carter intellectual with little concern or patience for good advice. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

Also, why won't Djou actually acknowledge that voters were lied to in 2008 by the City and the Rail Cartel about traffic congestion relief? Instead, Djou treats the 2008 vote as "the will of the people" knowing full well that 50.6% who voted "yes" were conned. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), is a landmark case in which the Supreme Court of the United States held in a 5–4 decision that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home and that Washington, D.C.'s handgun ban and requirement that lawfully-owned rifles and shotguns be kept "unloaded and disassembled or bound by a trigger lock" violated this guarantee." "McDonald v. Chicago, 561 U.S. 742 (2010), is a landmark decision of the Supreme Court of the United States that found that the right of an individual to "keep and bear arms" as protected under the Second Amendment is incorporated by the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment against the states." | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

Without daddy's money as backing and start-up fund, he'd be a 71-year-old nobody who didn't get out of Vietnam (unless he ran off to Canada) and spends his days feeling sorry for himself and complaining about how nobody treats him with respect and he can't get any *ahem* and it's all somebody else's fault. The torture (according to the 2010 Supreme Court of Canada decision in Kadhr v. P.M. of Canada et al) consisted of him being subjected to sleep deprivation (known as the "frequent flyer program") over a three week period. This did not factor into the payout as it was an American "program". | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

Care must be taken, however, to ensure that Canadian efforts in this regard do not suggest that Canada, faced with bullying tactics, is prepared to settle for disadvantageous terms or to side inappropriately with the US at Mexico's expense. Hard bargaining by each of the three NAFTA member States is to be expected and Canada must be prepared to give way on some issues if this can lead to changes that, on balance, improve North American trading conditions. However, Canada must strongly resist pressure to make unilateral concessions or to become the junior partner in efforts to gang up with the US against third nations. Such craven responses can only harm Canada in the long run. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

We accept all sorts of risks to public safety and health and a lot of them are demonstrably worse for you then cannabis and yet society finds a way to navigate those threats without outright banning them completely. Our senses and our minds are adapted to life at one and only one particular scale, and at only a small range of EM frequencies and sound wave frequencies, and at a very idiosyncratic experience of the passage of time (in spite of the sophistication of some of our highfalutin scientific equations, which in any case are not true "knowledge," nor are they the common property of all human beings). Other kinds of animals are far superior to human beings at observing other aspects of the universe, which must remain quite beyond our comprehension and even our imagining. As for Plato, inasmuch as he was a child of his time, he gets caught up in a lot of passing interests and suppositions which a Platonist "after a fashion" such as myself has no need to commit himself to. What's essential remains as true as ever. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

That and severe health problems affecting the fetus, is the reason why someone would even need a late-term abortion. There is really no such thing as a "partial birth abortion." It's a term made up by hysterical pro-birthers. No one waits till they are 8.5 months pregnant and then suddenly decides they don't feel like having a baby. Either their own life is threatened or something has gone very very wrong with the fetus. If the fetus is healthy but threatening the mother's life, at that stage they will do a caesarian. Why on earth, if someone doesn't want to be pregnant, would she wait so long when she can have it done legally and much more easily at two months or three? | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |
