As it is some time since this article was written, perhaps an updated article needs to be written. Great strides in genetic studies show that the body DOES mind what you eat! GMO foods will not deliver the nutrients of non-GMO food - your body is a finely tuned organism that over hundreds of thousands of years has evolved to 'run' on what the earth delivers - not what laboratories deliver. The massive increase in the last 2-3 decades of allergies, and other more chronic medical conditions are due to the consumption of "food" that contains poisons. It might look like food but we can't tell what it contains - many poisonous chemicals that are sneaked in through the process of producing modern "food". Record breaking auctions of equipment, the exodus of talented people, 30% vacancy rate in downtown Calgary, the divestiture of assets by foreign corporations and the cancellation of at least 4 large energy projects are all a direct result of the NDP and their poor decisions. It will take decades to recover post-2019 - if ever. The upzoning along/near Canada Line in Richmond began far before the CoVs did along Cambie. SF zoning along all major arterials in Richmond allows for condos/townhouses. Richmond's very generous set-backs and massing, allows for huge 4-5000 sq foot homes to be built (and larger on agricultural land), and this has caused the ever escalating tear down of older sf housing stock. Sadly though, these houses often remain sold and empty, or under occupied.
