Walker needs to stand up. Sooner or later the Legislature will follow — We need to be using taxes. reduced oil incentives and Permanent Fund interest to pay for government— & move toward a “sovereign wealth” approach toward more efficient, direct-to-PFD -recipient services. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

It is high time Canada's chattering classes stopped putting so much emphasis on knee-jerk multiculturalism . . . and started helping everyone become proudly and equally Canadian. I mean, if people want to behave exactly like they did in their old country, why come to Canada in the first place? Besides, multiculturalism is not nearly as a benign as virtue-signalling "progressives" like Trudeau would have you believe. For example, under the guise of multiculturalism, Canadian universities are routinely discriminating against white, male applicants/job-seekers. They call it affirmative action, but it is really reverse sexism/racism. And it is disgraceful. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

They put him in the fire and went from there. He went 0-7, this year, far different story, same with Wentz, same with Winston. Those QBs have shown noticable growth, whereas, so far, Trevor is who he was last year. It's getting to the point where the Broncos know exactly what they have in Trevor, and they can get the same kind of play and point production from Lynch. If it goes that route, that's it. It's up to Trevor to make them think differently on the matter. I gave him 7 more games before the bye to turn it around (entirely possible) but if he has two more games like this one, the writing will be on the wall. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

They've developed their own language to the point of talking with only emojis. That's high level stuff. Develop a new language you need a decoder ring to decipher. Online bullying has gotten worse. We are too divided. Stuff like this breaks my heart. Parents are helpless. School is the best place for kids day or night. I can't imagine waiting and getting bad news. (i.e. driving customers away) I currently REFUSE to fly, unless it is absolutely, absolutely necessary (i.e. having to get to a funeral on unexpected death of a grandparent) If I do fly, then I fly business class whenever possible... yes I pay for the upgrade Because I fly so infrequently, this option (while expensive) is within budget Flying is NOT fun... a 5 hour flight to Vancouver is the equivalent of being jammed onto a stinky, over-stuffed cattle car for a 5 hour train ride from Toronto to Montreal. For me, it ruins the entire trip to be left with a feeling of being treated worse than animals on the way to slaughter. So... we travel less, and when we do travel, it tends to be by auto, to locations within a day or so drive from the city - much more pleasant, we can bring the luggage we choose to bring, and we can leave and arrive on our own time schedule. I'm sure we're not the only ones who have chosen to turn away from air travel. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

Before a certain poster re-writes history/facts and spins new alleged myths: http://www.factcheck.org/2016/09/the-fbi-files-on-clintons-emails/ Key theme: "Merrill’s July 2015 statement did not say that the emails were deleted before the subpoena was issued; Merrill said “her decision to not to retain her personal emails” was made before the subpoena was issued. That is accurate. The decision was made, but not executed." Platte River Networks deleted the 31,830 marked personal e-mails. You can make up and allege what you want about this vendor and employee but no investigation has proven or changed the facts that Clinton turned over more than 30,000 work e-mails and a vendor deleted 31,830 personal e-mails as determined by three Clinton staff members. Again, the risk/allegation is that a foreign enemy might have hacked or obtained those personal e-mails and learned damaging info against the US. The investigator working for Fox, the Police, and the Rich family lawyer all said there was never a federal agent involved. Other right wing media have also dropped the story after it fell apart. One guy was persisting saying that he had contact with Kim.com who was the hacker who helped Seth get emails to Wikileaks-- that would be enough for anyone to drop the story. By the way Fox has dropped several other stories-- the most recent was the story that British agents tapped Trump's phone and fed recordings to Obama. | No flag | No flag | Allow | No action | Checked |

So what happens when 30% or more of that 85% pick up and move to the Lower 48 and take all their spending with them in order to offset some of the cost of working here? My job doesn't pay enough to commute, but that top 30%, especially if they're 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off ... oh, yeah. And if their families are no longer living in Anchorage or Fairbanks or wherever ... that's $100,000 a year not going into the Alaska economy. Most cities have done an admirable job of constructing meaningful roads to move their citizens around. On the other hand, Toronto has failed abysmally in this responsibility.
